Hemochromatosis: too much iron in the liver
Hemochromatosis is iron overload, almost always inherited (HFE gene). It is suspected with high ferritin and transferrin saturation and treated with phlebotomy.

Gilbert's syndrome is a very common, harmless inherited condition that mildly raises bilirubin. It is not a liver disease and needs no treatment.
