Además de la atención de pacientes y la docencia, el Dr. Alejandro Soza mantiene una línea de investigación clínica y de laboratorio centrada en las hepatitis virales, en particular en la replicación del virus de la hepatitis C, y ha participado como investigador en numerosos ensayos clínicos internacionales.
